TraderSync is the broker-import heavyweight of the journal category: over 700 integrations, native mobile apps, and a feature list that goes deep on intraday tooling. TradingSFX is narrower on import and deeper on AI review, confluence analytics and prop firm rules.

This is the head-to-head. For the tier-by-tier price breakdown on its own, see TraderSync pricing 2026.

What Each One Costs

Mid tierPremium $29.99/mo ($323.99/yr)Premium $49.95/mo ($449.52/yr)
Top tierElite $79.95/mo ($719.52/yr)

TraderSync's annual billing cuts roughly 25%, charged as one upfront payment rather than a cheaper monthly bill. Prices verified July 2026.

The number that matters is not the entry price. It is which tier holds the feature you came for. On TraderSync, the AI most people mean when they say "TraderSync's AI" is the proactive Cypher Coach, and that lives on Elite at $79.95 a month.

The Short Version

Choose TraderSync if you trade stocks or futures through a supported broker at volume, journal mostly from your phone, or need Level II, time and sales, and millisecond replay precision.

Choose TradingSFX if you trade forex, indices, gold or crypto, run prop firm challenges, or want the full AI review stack without paying for a top tier to unlock it.

Where TradingSFX Wins

1. The AI is not rationed or gated to the top tier

TraderSync's Cypher AI is message-capped on every plan, roughly a handful of messages a day on Pro, and the proactive coach that most reviews showcase is exclusive to Elite at $79.95 a month.

TradingSFX puts the whole AI stack on Pro at $19.99: a coach chat with live access to your trade history and a generous allowance rather than a daily message count, an automatic verdict on every trade you log, and a persistent coach profile that outputs a concrete read of your style, something like "patient mean-reversion scalper who breaks risk rules after two losses". Nothing about the AI is held back for a higher tier.

2. Prop firm rule tracking

Presets for FTMO, FundedNext, FundingPips, The Funded Trader, E8 Markets, TopStep and Apex, with live headroom on max drawdown, daily loss limit and profit target, plus a consistency rule solver. TraderSync has none of it at any price.

3. Confluence cross-filtering

Define the conditions your strategy depends on, tag them per trade, then cross-filter win rate and expectancy by condition and by combination. TraderSync has tags and setups but no equivalent cross-filter, so it cannot tell you which two of your five conditions carry the edge.

4. A free plan that exists

Free forever, no card: 10 trades a month, position size calculator, equity curve, CSV and JSON export. TraderSync's only free path is a 7-day trial that needs no card but restricts CSV export while it runs, which matters if the plan was to import your history, read the reports and leave with your data.

5. Chart replay backtesting on the free plan

Load your own CSV for any market and step through it bar by bar, taking practice trades with a real R outcome, on any plan including the free one. From Pro those trades log into the same journal with the same confluence tags as your live trades. TraderSync's market replay is an Elite feature.

6. TradingView indicator

A free PineScript indicator sets the trade up on your chart, then you paste it into the journal in one action. TraderSync has no TradingView integration.

Where TraderSync Wins

1. Broker auto-import, 700+ integrations

The widest broker coverage in the category, by a distance. TradingSFX auto-imports MetaTrader 4 and 5 read-only on paid plans and takes CSV for everything else, with no direct stock-broker integrations. If you place high volume through a supported broker, this can decide the whole comparison on its own.

2. Native mobile apps

Real iOS and Android apps on every tier. TradingSFX is responsive web. If you journal primarily from your phone, TraderSync's app will feel better.

3. Replay of your executed trades

TraderSync replays trades you actually took, tick by tick, at 250ms precision on Elite. TradingSFX replays historical market data for practice, but does not replay your live fills.

4. Intraday market tooling

Level II, time and sales, screeners and automated backtesting on Elite. If you need those, no journal in TradingSFX's price bracket carries them.

5. MAE/MFE excursion statistics

Premium and above report how far trades ran for and against you before closing. TradingSFX does not compute excursion statistics.

Which One Fits Your Setup?

  • High-volume stocks or futures through a supported broker → TraderSync. Auto-import is worth more than everything else on this page.
  • Forex, indices, gold, crypto → TradingSFX. MetaTrader import plus CSV covers it, and the analytics are built for these markets.
  • Prop firm challenge → TradingSFX. Rule tracking is not optional when a daily loss limit ends the account.
  • You want AI review as the core of the journal → TradingSFX, on price. Comparable AI depth on TraderSync means Elite at $79.95 a month.
  • Phone-first journaling → TraderSync, for the native apps.

Verdict

TraderSync is the better product if the import is the bottleneck. Seven hundred broker integrations and a native mobile app solve a real problem that TradingSFX does not solve for equities traders, and no amount of AI compensates for typing in 40 fills by hand.

If the import is not your bottleneck, the pricing works against it. The AI that sells TraderSync sits on a $79.95 tier, its cheaper plans ration it by the day, and nothing on any tier watches a prop firm rule. TradingSFX starts free, puts the entire AI stack on $19.99, and tracks the rules that end funded accounts.
